| It all began over a cup of tea..... Hanna and Angila knew that their little village needed a place for people to shop. Toys that were safe, durable and fun were not to be found anywhere close. A windy road to travel out, they decided to bring the best to Ucluelet. Toy Recalls were the top story on every news station, which fueled the concern for their own children to have access to safe playthings. Hanna is a mom of a 3 year old daughter Evabelle who likes to rearrange the store, hiding stuffies everywhere for Angila to find....which is a funny thing to find weeks later...Angila is a mom of a 4 year old daughter Neveah who likes to steal the business cards and bags to craft with at home...and a 2 year old boy who likes the hangers. trucks and play area.... Free organic tea awaits you when you enter the store, and a safe play area for your kids gives you the freedom to browse the endless amount of things for babies, kids and toddlers. A year and a half later..... Angila and Hanna continue to work at the store....until they both need to deliver their babies...that's right...Angila and Hanna surprisingly found themselves moms to be again in the new year....Both are due after the summer and into fall...all they could do was laugh out loud at the thought of both owners of the baby store also becoming customers....for the baby stuff they never got to buy.....Ucluelet and Tofino joined in the pregnancy boom....with over 40 women due before the end of this year!! So it must be in the water! Two years later....Angila had a boy - Bodhi and Hanna had a girl Frida!!! We also hired our first staff - Ashley!! |
